It was an honour to join Chief Bob Gloade to announce 34 new homes for Millbrook First Nation!
The federal government is delivering over $4 million through round 3 of the Rapid Housing Initiative to support the construction of these new homes.
But today’s announcement isn’t about dollar amounts and units, it’s about ensuring that 34 families have a safe and affordable home to live in and thrive in!
These new homes will improve the quality of life for families who are in core housing need and will create good jobs along the way.
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this a reality, especially Chief Gloade and members of the Millbrook Housing Department.
