The Gloria Fisher Business Person of the Year Award is given annually to a local downtown Dartmouth entrepreneur who is doing exceptional work in our community.
Established by the Downtown Dartmouth Business Commission to honour my late Nanny Gloria Fisher, this award is presented to a local Downtown business person who demonstrates an excellent level of business standards and ethics while displaying leadership, creativity, and vision.
Every year, a person is chosen based on their ability to display a strong entrepreneurial spirit in downtown Dartmouth. Just like the namesake, the recipient of this prestigious award must be foster a strong sense of community, which is at the core of our Dartmouth spirit.
