The House of Commons just elected the first Black Speaker in Canada’s history — Greg Fergus.
Greg is a truly wonderful Parliamentarian and a great friend.
He’s so calm and when he speaks people listen.
He’s a force and I know he will work hard to bring decorum back to the House. Congratulations, Speaker Fergus!
