Awesome day in #Dartmouth!
I welcomed Minister Jim Carr to the Bedford Institute of Oceanography. We enjoyed the great weather for a moment and had good chat about the incredible companies and organizations in Dartmouth who are working in the clean technology industry.
Later on, he announced a $1M investment in a tidal energy project led by the Offshore Energy Research Association (OERA)!
The project, which aims to address knowledge gaps and challenges associated with tidal energy in Canada, received the funding from NRCan’s Energy Innovation Program.
