“Hey everybody! So the mental health town hall was last night and it was a really unique experience!
It was a very intimate, personal discussion for all of us involved! Some people were brave and kind enough to share their personal stories of the journeys and struggles that have faced themselves and their friends as they managed their mental health.
We’re incredibly grateful to every single one of them for opening up and allowing us to gain a proper understanding of the challenges that face us and our peers.
We were able to gather some very important and revealing information about areas that require improvement in our community. We look forward to reviewing the info we’ve received in the coming days and discussing possible solutions to people’s concerns.
We’ll keep everyone updated on our progress as the weeks go on!
We’d like to thank everyone who was a part of the event including the Dartmouth High School staff who allowed us to use the Keating Hall as our venue, the DHS health nurses who offered their insight and support during the event, the technicians who set up the audio and lighting, and of course everyone who made it out to the event! We look forward to bringing you more information about the event soon! Have a great evening!”
