Having support on Bill C-238 ‘A National Strategy for Safe and Environmentally Sound Disposal of Lamps Containing Mercury Act’ from throughout the House of Commons has been extremely humbling. My Bill passed unanimously with amendment at the Committee stage by members of the LPC, CPC and NDP.
It’s been so good to see all of us working together across political party lines to get this bill passed.
