We’re lucky to have LakeCity Works in our community. I dropped by this morning to check in and see how their latest upgrades are going.
Through their programming, they support persons living with mental illness by building on their strengths and helping them access work experience, education and employment.
They help ensure that everyone they work with feels supported and empowered to reach their full potential.
Earlier this year, we delivered $33,600 through the Community Services Recovery Fund, to help LakeCity buy the equipment they needed to offer virtual programs and more. It’s great to hear about the big difference this is making for the people they work with.
Our Government believes in working with good community partners like LakeCity Works to strengthen our community. It’s why we delivered over one million dollars through this fund to support community organizations across Dartmouth—Cole Harbour!
