Yesterday, we gathered for the annual Battle of the Atlantic ceremony. While it’s usually held at Commodore Park, this year’s ceremony was moved indoors to Centennial Legion Branch 160.

From 1939 to 1945, the Battle of the Atlantic was the longest continuous battle of the Second World War. Thousands of Canadians and Newfoundlanders lost their lives in that long and difficult fight.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to organize and attend.

We will remember them.
