We joined the crew of the new HMCS Harry DeWolf to announce the completion of $113M Jetty NJ project at CFB Halifax!
- Minister Bernadette Jordan made the announcement at CFB Halifax, and we were joined by MP Andy Fillmore, and MP Darrell Samson.
- The new Jetty will provide a berth space for up to four Arctic Offshore Patrol Ships, like the Harry DeWolf.
- The new Jetty NJ will ensure that the Royal Canadian Navy can effectively accommodate the ships it requires for the 21st century.
As someone who firmly believes that our Government must view every project through an environmental lens, I’m delighted to say that the new Jetty NJ includes the creation of an artificial reef to ensure the future of various species of sea-life!
