We just raised the Pride flag on Parliament Hill today!
When we first raised the Pride flag on Parliament Hill back in 2016, I remember members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community talking about how important and how meaningful it was to them. I’ve never forgotten that.
I recognize that the flag doesn’t fly over every community, or every school, but know that it flies here on Parliament Hill.
I want you to know that our government has always, and will always, stand with the 2SLGBTQI+ community – as we continue to fight for equity and inclusion, together.
