With Some Workers’ Benefits Ending in Late March, We’ve Proposed an Extension (Bill C-24) to Ensure Canadians can Continue to Support Their Families and Pay Their Bills

From the travel to the tourism industry, we know that many workers continue to face challenges in these uncertain times.

With some workers benefits ending in late March, we’ve proposed an extension (Bill C-24) to ensure Canadians can continue to support their families and pay their bills.

Bill C-24 would increase the number of weeks that these benefits are available:

• Canada Recovery Benefit
• Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit
• the Canada Recovery Caregiving Benefit
• Employment Insurance Regular Benefits
