Dartmouth-Cole Harbour MP Darren Fisher congratulates Sidney Crosby, Brad Marchand and Team Canada for bringing home the title at the World Cup of Hockey!
“Mr. Speaker. I’ve been proud of the productive Summer I had in the riding. A few town halls, funding announcements and great community engagement. But then there’s Sidney Crosby from my riding of Dartmouth-Cole Harbour. Since June, ‘Sid the Kid’ has racked ‘em up. A Stanley Cup, Conn Smyth, An Emmy (yes, an EMMY) and now the World Cup of Hockey AND MVP!
Team Canada was AMAZING in the World Cup of Hockey. Nova Scotia’s own, Brad Marchand’s winning short-handed goal was epic and the chemistry between Brad and Sid was something we’ll never forget. Can’t forget to give a big shout-out to Nathan McKinnon for his amazing performance on team North America.
