Each April, the Canadian Cancer Society holds its annual Daffodil Month to help raise money and awareness for cancer research.
This fundraiser has been held for over 60 years, and involves thousands of volunteers who sell both fresh daffodils, as well as lapel pins to help raise money for the CCS. The money raised goes towards funding both support services for those with cancer, as well as helping to develop new cancer treatments.
I highly encourage you to show your support for this great cause by proudly wearing a lapel pin to help raise awareness, and as a show of support for those fighting cancer.
