Today I attended the Village On Main NS Parade & Festival in Tribute to Veterans and those who serve!
So many people in our community joined us at 11am for the 10th annual parade! The parade started at Stevens Road United Baptist Church, headed down Tacoma Dr and finished at the Sobey’s near our office on the #BrightSide. It was an honour to say a few words at the ceremony in tribute to our Veterans and current members who serve. It was great to see Councillor Tony Mancini and our new MLA Tim Halman.
Later in the afternoon the festival was in full swing! Face painting, food trucks and more! We had many Veterans in attendance and it’s always a pleasure to hear a few stories! #WeRemember
