We’re taking targeted action to support Canadians who need relief the most.
Today, the Prime Minister announced that we’re:
- doubling the GST Credit for 6 months
- providing a top up to the Canada Housing Benefit for eligible renters
- providing a Canada Dental Benefit to children under 12 who don’t have dental insurance
We know that inflation is a global challenge caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine. And we know that we need to do everything we can to help those most impacted by increased costs.
